Empowering Future Leaders

Our Mission

At the J.L. Turner Foundation, our mission is to increase the number of diverse law students, particularly African-American lawyers. We provide vital support through tax-deductible donations that fund scholarships for law students and educational initiatives aimed at supporting minority law students.

The Juanita Harris Scholarship

In 2026, the J.L. Turner Legal Association Foundation will award a scholarship to a law student from Texas who is currently a mother, raising a child, while attending law school.
