Texas Appleseed/Kaplan LSAT Scholarship
Texas Appleseed is now accepting applications for our scholarship through our Diversity Legal Scholars program. The application
deadline is June 26, 2015. Please forward the application details to any eligible students.
The Diversity Legal Scholars program provides Kaplan LSAT prep course scholarships and mentors to Texas college seniors, graduate students, and recent college graduates who are interested in attending law school.

Applications must be postmarked by June 26,2015, and applicants will be required to take the October 2015 LSAT.
Students must also apply to one Texas law school for Fall 2016 admission.

Fort Worth Independent School District
Scholarship Program
The United Negro College Fund and employees of the Fort Worth Independent School District are pleased
to announce a scholarship program that is open to spring 2015 Fort Worth ISD graduating seniors who will
attend a UNCF member college/university or another historically black college or university (HBCU).
Requirements:
• Student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
• Student must be a 2014–2015 graduating senior from a Fort Worth ISD high school.
• Student must be enrolled full-time at a UNCF member institution or other historically black college or
university.
Scholarships
Scholarships up to $5,000 will be awarded to students who demonstrate financial need and academic
potential. Students must submit an essay as part of their application. The scholarship award will be sent
to the Financial Aid/Scholarship office at the student’s UNCF/other campus upon proof of enrollment.

Requirements:
• Student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
• Student must be a 2014–2015 graduating senior from a Dallas ISD high school.
• Student must be enrolled full-time at a UNCF member institution or other accredited four-year college
or university.
Scholarships
Scholarships up to $2,500 will be awarded to students who demonstrate financial need and academic
