Funding the Education of the Next Generation of African American Leaders in Dallas Supporting Pro Bono Legal Service Organizations Working in Our Community

The J.L. Turner Legal Association Foundation

"Thank you so much for your generous stipend... I cannot tell you how helpful it was in covering summer expenses. I really wanted an opportunity to work and live in Dallas over the summer, but it was difficult because I don't really have family in the area.  Working with Judge Smith was the highlight of my summer and really drove home a lot of what I learned during my first year in law school.  Even more, it allowed me to evaluate cases from the judge's perspective, which is invaluable.Your generosity allows students to explore the law and build connections in new places. I really appreciate your support."
